December 13, 2017 at Cactus Club

Unsane has spent fall and winter 2017 on the road in support of their new album Sterilize. After seeing them in July at Chicago’s Beat Kitchen, I couldn’t resist making the drive to Milwaukee to see them at the Cactus Club, along with Child Bite and Big|Brave. This is a great lineup of bands to see in one night: Child Bite wakes everyone up with their frantic noise rock; Big|Brave moves things in a more abstract direction with sung vocals atop sparse slabs of drums and guitar noise; then Unsane blasts out their unique brand of abrasive sonic sludge.
