North Carolina’s masters of sonic bottom-heavy sludge Weedeater have been steadily touring ever since the release of 2015’s Goliathan. They hit the road once again for a winter 2019 tour along with Mothership, Crowbar, and Corrosion of Conformity. After the tragic passing of drummer Carlos Denogean in August 2018, Weedeater have recruited Ramzi Ateyeh for the role.
The set list focused mainly on their 2007 album God Luck and Good Speed. Corrosion of Conformity’s Pepper Keenan joined on vocals for the Lynyrd Skynyrd cover and crowd favorite Gimme Back My Bullets.
