Nothing hits the spot like a raucous evening of death metal, and the bay area three-piece Necrot is on a summer U.S. tour following the release of their latest album, Lifeless Birth. The band played Chicago’s Reggies Rock Club on July 3rd for a pre-holiday Wednesday night filled with chainsaw riffs, whirlwind drumming, and madcap fun. Necrot is one of the top bands among the ranks of those keeping death metal alive and interesting, with a sound that simultaneously hearkens back to the old school death metal scene of the late 1980s and early 90s. They wasted no time, kicking things off with Cut the Cord from their new album and kept the energy high the entire show. Check out photos below!
